Nestled in the heart of historical Pompeia, Pousada Pompeia offers a serene escape. The easy parking was a plus, as my husband and I arrived in our vintage Karmann Ghia. The beautiful pool area was a delightful backdrop for evening caipirinhas, a true taste of Brazil. Great for lounging too; I even caught up on editing photos from a recent shoot in São Paulo from the hammock area.The real highlight? On a quiet weekday morning, we were treated to a spread that surpassed expectations. Fresh fruits, local delicacies, and a touch of culinary flair made each bite memorable. The restaurant's ambiance added an extra layer of sophistication, a perfect setting for savoring each dish. A must-visit for any discerning palate seeking a gourmet getaway in Brazil.
